SNAME Maritime Convention: Paper presentation

Celebrating its 130th year, the SNAME Maritime Convention is scheduled for San Diego this September.
The event draws maritime industry players from all over the world, and is internationally recognized for its technical presentations, panels and continuing educatin sessions. It’s an excellent opportunity for engineers, manufacturing, and construction experts from all fields to collaborate and learn about current and emerging maritime technologies.
This year the spotlight is on Utilizing New Technologies to Solve Complex Maritime Problems. Using wing sails to decarbonize deep sea cargo transport, the Orcelle project is right on cue.
On Thursday 28th, Sofia Werner, Lead Researcher Wind-Powered Ships from RISE will present a paper on the Orcelle project scope, ambition, and expected outcome.
